Adkins & Associates is a full-service strategic messaging and design firm providing a broad range of advertising, marketing, research coordination, and strategic communication services to a wide variety of corporate, governmental, and political clients.

Initially organized in 1982 as a financial public relations consulting firm, the company now provides complete creative services from concept development through implementation and execution of full-scale print, broadcast, collateral-intensive, and social media advertising campaigns.

Our creative work for many political, healthcare, and educational clients has been recognized with numerous national awards of merit.

Based in Coral Gables, Florida, Adkins has worked for clients and campaigns across the United States as well as in Mexico and South America. 

Stan Adkins is a political strategist and media consultant whose experience spans nearly 40 years.  He has managed multiple statewide political campaigns and developed the general strategy and paid media (TV, Radio, Direct Mail, Social Media, and Print Advertising) for statewide to municipal candidates as well as numerous referenda campaigns.

In the private sector, he has developed award-winning and successful campaigns for a wide variety of corporate and non-profit clients, including one of the largest public healthcare providers in the United States.

Stan has lectured at several universities on political strategy, targeting, and messaging. He Co-Chaired the Summit of the Americas Host Committee for Press Relations and served as Vice Chair of the Florida Department of Agriculture’s International Trade Advisory Committee. He was also a member of the State of Florida’s Privacy and Technology Task Force and a panelist on the Pew Charitable Trust’s forum on Ethics and Elections.

Prior to forming Adkins & Associates, Stan served in the Florida Department of Insurance as Chief of the Bureau of Collateral Securities and as Administrator of the State of Florida Deferred Compensation Plan.
OSCAR LIEVANO - Creative Director
Oscar Lievano, Creative Director, brings a wealth of advertising and graphic design experience to Adkins & Associates. Oscar began his career at an in-house advertising department, followed by several years at an architectural design firm. He gained valuable graphic design experience when he later worked at local design firms and advertising agencies.

Before joining Adkins & Associates, Oscar was a senior creative for one of the largest advertising agencies in Florida. His portfolio includes a broad spectrum of clients and projects that range from a logo design for a small start up to an entire branding
campaign for a new municipality. And from local to National advertising campaigns to a 30 second TV spot which ran during the 2005 SuperBowl.

Oscar’s years of experience and creative abilities have been rewarded with many prestigious design awards.
SARAH BALLARD - Senior Graphic Designer
Sarah Ballard, senior graphic designer, has worked with Adkins & Associates for several years now. She Graduated from New World School of the Arts College with a BFA in graphic arts and has exhibited in Miami’s Art Basel satellite fairs. Skilled in graphic design, with strong artistic roots, Sarah brings a background of printmaking, photography, and fashion design knowledge to the agency. Former employers include Associated photo and Miami-Dade County’s Communication Dept. Where she created PortMiami’s many marketing materials, branding, and recently received a 2015 Gold Marcom award for her “Hit the Club/Let’s Play” Campaign for Miami-Dade County’s Golf Miami.
GEORGE BARNES - Director/Film Production
For 25 years George has developed and shot thousands of projects ranging from 2 years of Spanish Home Shopping Network, Anderson Cooper’s daytime talk show ANDERSON to the global launch campaigns of VW beetle the AudiR8 & Lamborghini Aventedor as well as all Yamaha Watersports for the last 4 years. Commercials include 13 years of weekly spots for Winn-Dixie food stores, and thousands other premium brand national ads.

Also noteworthy is George’s recent corporate sponsored feature film documentary “A Chattanooga Story” that garnered the coveted second place Silver Dolphin award in Cannes, France last year.
